What is the deal with the roster of licensed psychologists? What is it?
The Board shall maintain a roster that contains the name and address of each psychologist currently licensed, listed alphabetically by name and geographically by address, and any other information the Board considers desirable.
Who may practice psychology in the State of MD?
Who may use the words “psychological” “psychologist” and “psychology”to describe the services that they provide?
A psychologist who has a MD license that is effective/active/not expired (or who is exempt). This applies only when services are provided for compensation.
What must the Board do regarding availability of the roster?
The Board shall:
1) respond to inquiries from the public re: info contained in the roster.
2) provide copies of the roster by mail to the public on request.
