TV-ல புயல் வரும்னு சொல்லுறாங்க
Take an umbrella
குடை கொண்டு போங்க
Looks like the rain has stopped
மழை விட்ட மாதிரி இருக்கு
Thunder is sounding and lightening is flashing
இடி இடிக்குது மின்னலை மின்னுது
It is raining heavily
சோனை மழை பெய்யுது
It’s raining cats and dogs (Lit. It’s raining the devil)
பேயி மழை பெய்யுது
It is cloudy/overcast
மேக மூட்டமா இருக்கு
It is dark and cloudy (The sky seems covered)
வானம் மூடிக்கிட்டு இருக்கு
It is getting darker
