Q

what is the different between internal and external validity?

A

The key difference between internal and external validity is that internal validity is the extent to which the researcher is able to make the claim that no other variables except the one he is studying caused the result whereas external validity is the extent to which results of a study can be generalized to the world at large.

Q

what is inter-rater reliability?

A

1) ensure the BCS is established
2) conduct the observations independently
3) check the percentage similarity of results
4) if 80% + then they have IRR
5) plot data on a scatter graph
6) see if there’s a positive correlation
77) conduct stats tests for correlation statistic
