degree adverbs: Almost, hardly, nearly, quite, rather, scarcely.
Adverbs of order of events: first, last, next.
adverbs of frequency: hardly ever, often, rarely, regularly, seldom, always and never.
Exception: as a rule, on many occasions, from time to time, every so often. Go in front or end form.
