Indications
A
- Hypoxia-Confirmed or suspected
- Ischemic chest pain and/or stroke if pulse oximetry <94%
- Respiratory Insufficiency
- Apneic oxygenation during RSI procedure
- Suspected CO poisoning

Precautions
A
Patients with COPD and Chronic CO2 Retention

Dosages / Administration
A
- NC, NRM, ETT, BVM, or by whatever means to maintain O2 saturation >94%
- COPD and Chronic CO2 Retention Pts: Target O2 saturation 92-94%
- Post-cardiac arrest with ROSC: Target O2 saturation of 94%, acceptable range 94-99%
- CO Poisoning: High Flow @ 100%

Adverse Reactions
A
High-Concentrations of O2 may cause DLOC and Respiratory Depression over time in patients with Chronic CO2 Retention
