Moderate to Severe Pain

Contraindications
A
- Peri-operative patients (eg. CABG)
- Advanced Renal Impairment
- CVA Bleed or GI Bleed
- Labor & Delivery
- Hypersensitivity

Precautions
A
Elderly patients generally require a lower dose

Dosage / Administration
A
SIVP Slowly over 15-20seconds. IM Slowly & Deeply into the muscle.
Adult IM: Pts <65y/o 60mg. Pts >65y/o and/or <110lbs 30mg.
Adult IV: Pts <65y/o 30mg. Pts >65y/o and/or <110lbs 15mg
Peds: >2y/o 0.5mg/kg IV/IO/IM, MAX Single Dose 15mg
