Painless, mobile, rubbery mass
Often multiple and bilateral

Reassurance + f/up if 2.5cm

- Pt. choice

Large, fast growing mass
Mobile, non-tender
Epithelial and connective tissue elements

WLE
DCIS clinical
Presents as microcalcification on mammogram
Rarely associated with symptoms:
1. lump
2. discharge
3. eczematous change = pagets
4. Ca @ 1%/yr (10x increased risk) in ipsilateral breast
DCIS Rx
WLE + radiotherapy
Extensive of multifocal - masectomy + reconstruction + reconstruction + SNB
Pagets Clinical
Unilateral, scaly, erythematous, itchy +/- palpable mass (invasive carcinoma
Pagets Rx
Usually underlying invasive or DCIS breast cancer
Mastectomy + radio ± chemo
LCIS
Incidental biopsy finding (no calcification)
Often bilat (20-40%)
Young women
Incerased risk of Ca (x10) in both breasts
LCIS Rx
Bilateral prophylactic mastectomy or close watching with mammographic screening
