  1. Pain, tenderness, erythema, warmth and reduced ROM
  2. effusions in neighboring joints
  3. Signs of systemic infection

A

Raised ESR/CRP and raised WCC

+ blood cultures in 60%

Seqeustrum and involcrum

A

IV Abx Vanc + ceftotaxime until MCS known
Drain abscess and remove sequestra
Analgesia
