Features of local anesthesia in children and inflammatory diseases in MFA Flashcards

1
Q

Anatomical considerations in children

A
  • Risk of penetrating vessels in tuberosity area w/ deep infiltration→ Pterygoid plexus or posterior superior alveolar artery
  • Short ramus and narrower→ IAN penetration reduced
