Where religion texts are taken literally and provides a strict set of rules people should live by

A process that began with a revolution. Characterised by rapid change, scientific and technological development, secularisation and decline of tradition

The belief that there is one god
What is pentecostalism?
Relating to or denoting to any number of chirstian movements emphasising baptism in the holy spirit, prophecy, healing and exorcism
What is projct identity?
The response of those who are forward-looking and engae in social movements such as feminism.
What is resistance identity?
A defensive reaction of those who feel threatened and retreat into fundamentalist communities
What is secular fundementalism?
The adherence to anti-religous ideology that ridicules, mocks and satrizes the idea of the existence of a deity or religion
What is ultra-nationalism?
Extreme nationalism that promotes the interests of one state of people above all others
What is westernisation?
The adoption of te practices and culture of western europe by societies and countries in other parts of the world
