It is predetermined even before birth who will go to heave. nothing you do can change this

People leading joyless lives without knowing if they were to recieve an reward in heaven, contributing to a sense of anxiety.

Its a politically and morally conservative, protestant fundementalist movement.

Religion contains our dreams of a better world or utopia
