Advantages
A
-Faster read & write because of disk striping
-Larger storage than any single disk
-More disks will increase capacity, performance, & protection
-NO performance lost if disk fails
-Fast recovery

A
-FOUR disk minimum
-If a RAID 1 array fails, all data will be lost
-That’s 2 disks in a single RAID 1 failing
