A
- Used to connect wireless devices over miles
- Usually installed using point-to-point directed antennas
- Licensed / unlicensed
o May have to go to the FCC to get a license for the radio frequency

- Connect devices to devices [30 feet]
- Usually used for connecting:
o Mouses, keyboards, headsets - Setup includes:
o Enable BT
o Enable pairing
o Find a device for pairing
o Enter the appropriate PIN code
o Test connectivity

NFC = Near Field Communication
A
- Enables communication between 2 electronic devices over a distance of 4 cm [1.5 in or less]
- Used for:
o Payments with phones / watches
o Enter a building with a phone

RFID = Radio-Frequency Identification
A
- Uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify & track tags attached to objects
- Use an access card:
o EZ-pass
o work in inventory management
o keep track of equipment - alternative to barcode, scan ONCE & grab all data
