A

helps prepare the body for exercise
- should always be carried out before the start of any training session
- helps to reduce injury

what are the three stages

A

stage 1- perform cardio vasular exercise. e.g. jogging to increase heart rate gradually towards the working hr
stage 2- stretching/flexibility exercises
stage 3- involve movement patterns that are to be carried out. e.g. practicing shooting in basketball
