List the mandatory vaccinations as well as the time of vaccination of each one
Mnemonic : “Timely Vaccines Aid Healthy Kids”
T - Tuberculosis (BCG) - Given at birth or soon after
I - Influenza - Annually, starting at six months of age
M - Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - Given at 12-15 months and a booster at 4-6 years
E - Hepatitis A - Given at 12-23 months, with a second dose 6-18 months later
L - Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTaP) - Given at 2, 4, and 6 months, with booster doses at 15-18 months and 4-6 years
Y - Haemophilus Influenzae type b (Hib) - Given at 2, 4, and 6 months, with a booster dose at 12-15 months
V - Varicella (Chickenpox) - Given at 12-15 months and a booster at 4-6 years
A - Hepatitis B - Given at birth, 1-2 months, and 6-18 months
C - Pneumococcal Conjugate (PCV13) - Given at 2, 4, and 6 months, with a booster dose at 12-15 months
C - Rotavirus - Given at 2, 4, and 6 months
○ HPV: 12-13 years (mandatory only for females)
Recommended but not mandatory: varicella, HAV, rotavirus, tick-borne
encephalitis, meningococcal.
