What does the integumentary system consist of?
The skin and its accessory structures
What do sensory sensors communicate with?
The brain and the spinal cord via nerve fibres
What does the muscular and skeletal system include?
The muscles and the bones to which they are attached
What does the Nervous system consist of?
The Brain, Spinal Cord, and associated Nerves
What do Nerves do?
Conduct nerve impulses from receptors to the brain and the spinal cord. And from the brain and spinal cord to to muscles and glands
What does the endocrine system consist of?
Hormonal glands
What do Hormonal Glands do?
Secrete chemicals that serve as messengers between body cells
What does the Nervous system and the Endocrine system do?
Coordinate and regulate the functions of the body’s other systems
What do the testes produce?
Sperm
What does the Female reproductive system consist of?
The Ovaries, Oviducts, Uterus, Vagina, external genitals
What do the ovaries produce?
Sex cells or Ova
