What’s the aim of this maneouver?

How do we perform this manouver?
- Set heading bug on HSI on our desired final heading
- Initiate turn
- Increase throttle a little
- Around half an inch to maintain the pitch and the speed (medium cruise)
- Angle of bank will be set by selecting the mark which indicates 3º per second
- maintain this position cross checking the instruments and the Stick
- To turn smoothly, we anticipate with a 1/3 of the bank angle
How do we attain a standard turn during a medium cruise speed?
19º bank, and we anticipate 6º
What do we do when we start leveling the wings?
Reduce throttles
