It is important to say that once you have had an engine fire and it is shut off, “YOU SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO RESTART IT”, since it is considered that the engine will be damaged and the possibility that the fire could restart is very high.

NOTE: In case of not being able to extinguish the fire, we should perform a sideslip, so that the flames trail behind the aircraft and away from the tanks, aiming to attain a sufficient speed to put out the fire (never exceeding the red arc).
