What is fallen stock?
A
Any animal that has died of natural causes or disease or killed for other reasons than human consumption

How is fallen stock disposed of?
A
- Burial/open burning is not permitted
- Collection by approved transporter: knacker, hunt kennel, maggot farm, incinerator, renderer
- Carcasses over 48 months must be tested for BSE
- Animals by products must be transported in covered leakproof container
