- Group calls through the day to affected lines
What are curve boards?
Yellow pointed signs with speed written in black numbers.
The point indicates the direction of curve
When can a driver resume track speed when going around a curve?
When the whole train is clear of the curve
When must a driver reduce speed for curves?
Before the train enters the curve not at the board itself

Power/Brake LM during rescue

• “Low” Aspect
• Sidings speed/Shunting
• Trailing points become facing points
• Points held by Hand
• Propelling Trains (Rescue) no power or brake in the lead
• Proceeding wrong way over a level crossing
What is the description of Extreme Caution?
Travelling at a speed not exceeding 25km/h or posted track speed if less
Being able to stop train in half the distance that can be seen ahead
Being prepared to find the section ahead Occupied, Obstructed or Track Damage
