How do you operate a dual-control point machine (DCPM)?

A
  1. Be instructed to do so by Train Controller or Signaller
  2. Unlock padlock with 5P key
  3. Release the latch on the Selector lever
  4. Change Selector lever from motor to hand position
  5. Change Hand Throw lever once to engage the mechanism, then put it in the position you require (Normal or Reverse)
  6. Depending on instructions from TC or Signaller, either leave in Hand mode or clear points, walk back to lever and switch to Normal then Motor
  7. Secure with padlock
