Q

What is the difference between Indirect and Direct Testing?

A

Direct testing will specifically test an ability whilst indirect testing will we used to predict that ability.

Q

Give an example of how you would justify Serene Williams doing a vo2 max test

A

From a physiological perspective, multi-stage fitness test will test aerobic power, which is vital in a game of tennis, as well as utilise the same muscle groups and joint actions that Serena will use when running around the court.
