What is the purpose of the PAF?
Ensure ongoing communication, about performance, between employee and rater so at review time there are no surprises.
What is the common review period date range?
Jul 1 - Jun 30
When is a new hire review date?
12 months from date of hire, then they are converted to common review date
What rating must you get for a step increase?
Successful Performance
When is the due date for PAFs?
Mid June (at least 2 weeks prior to June 30)
What are the 4 phases of a PAF?
1: Planning (Goals expectations)
2: Monitoring/Coaching (Mid point check in)

What are the 3 ratings you can receive in a PAF?

When does an employee get their PAF if they are on disciplinary probation?
At the end of probation
If a step increase falls during probation employee does not receive it during period, but may be granted after complete
What if the PAF is not completed on time?
Step increase will be delayed, retro pay requires City Manager approval
Upon change in class how soon does Phase 1 (planning setting competencies and goals) need to be completed?
Within first 2 weeks
