Strategy and plan should include a priority rescue if FF reported missing. What must be assumed about this FF?
They are lost in the building until can be accounted for.
As soon as FF THINKS they are in trouble they should call a May Day, initiate GRAB LIVES, activate emergency button, and provide command with what info?
Number of FFs, what sector they were in, where they THINK they are, surroundings, near bye activities they can hear (saws etc)
What are the “musts” for a crew to enter a hazard zone?

If lost FF is unable to contact anyone on radio what should they do?
Attempt another channel, Channel 1 is preferred.
What role does the PASS devices play in may days?
It must be activated and remain on until rescued, it can be temporarily turned off to communicated on radio but must be turned back on. If a crew hears a PASS they must respond as it was a call for help.
