May induce pulmonary edema if given to patient with history of CHF; otherwise none in EMS

Adult:
200-250cc IV IO, repeat until BP(systolic) > 90mmHg
Pedi:
20cc/kg IV IO

LR Precautions
A
Patients should be monitored for circulatory overload

LR Drug Interactions
A
- Additive effects with potassium-sparing drugs; may cause hyperkalemia
- Forms PPT in IV tubing with Ceftriaxone
