How do lifestyle factors to getting diseases affect you locally, nationally and globally?

A

Globally - non communicable disease more common in developed countries as people in developed countries generally earn more and can buy food higher in fat.

Nationally - Cardiovascular disease, obesity and type 2 diseases are more common in poorer areas, as people are more likely to smoke and have poor diet and not exercise there.

Locally - individual choices affect how common a disease is locally.

Smoking - lung cancers, disease and cardiovascular disease.

Obesity - Type 2 diabetes - causes less resistance to insulin.

Alcoholism - Damage brain and liver.
