Q

Chromosomes

A

Nucleus of cell contains chromosomes
These sre coiled up lengths of DNA molecules.
Each chromosome carries a large number of genes,
Different genes control the development of characteristics.
Body cells normally have two copies of each chromosome.
There are 23 pairs of chromosomes in a human cell.
