(GO 22.6, page 3, paragraph 1) Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan encompasses the overall direction of the Department as provided by Executive Management. A Strategic Plan consists of the following elements:
a) (1) Commissioner’s Vision (2) Guidelines from the State Legislature (3) Written Policy in the form of a General Order (GO)
b) (1) Departmental office/Division/Area/section goals. (2) Objectives to achieve those goals.
(3) Performance metrics to measure the progress of each goal.
