Give 5 reasons why feline neutering is indicated
Population control - too many cats not enough homes
Reduce risks with pregnancy, parturition and lactation etc
Limits spread of infectious disease e.g., FIV and feline leukemia
limit repro disease e.g., mammary tumours and pyometra
Reduce unwanted behaviours e.g., urine spraying

flank incision easier to monitor

No
Neutered cats may be more likely to be obese due to their lower calorie requirements, owners are unaware of this and therefore tend to overfeed
