What are externalising disorders?

A

Disruptive behavioural problems that are direct towards the environment and others. Primary examples include oppositional, hyperactive, aggressive and antisocial behaviours

A

Emotional problems that are directed toward inner experience. Examples include anxiety, withdrawal and depression

A

A

Changes in the family environment. Increased rates of: single parenting, family conflict, parental mental health problem, emergence of parenting styles that place a lower value on child obedience, increasing exposure to interest and increasing pressure within school.m
