Atropine
Bradycardia- 0.5mg slow IV/IO q 3-5 minutes up to 3mg
Adenosine
Adult:
1st dose- 6mg rapid IVP (proximal vein) followed by 20cc NS flush
2nd dose- 12mg rapid IVP followed by 20cc NS flush
Amiodarone
Adult
- VF/Pulseless VT- 300mg IV/IO, repeat dose 150mg IV/IO in 3-5min PRN - VT with pulse- 150 mg IV/IO over 10 min - Maintainance- 1mg/min first 6 hours, then 0.5mg/min
Cardizem (Diltiazem)
Adult
1st dose- 0.25mg/kg IV/IO over 2 minutes usual dose 15-20mg
2nd dose- 0.35mg/kg
Maintainance dose- 5-15mg/hr
Not for Pedi
Metoprolol- beta blocker
Adult
5mg slow IV/IO q 5 minutes, max total dose 15mg
Morphine
0.1mg/kg slow (2 mg/min) IV IO IM, max single dose 10mg, q 10 min. 3 total doses allowed
Patients older than 65- 0.05mg/kg slow IV IO IM (2 mg/min) max 10
Start at 2 mg. max 6mg
Vasopressin
Adult
40 units IV/IO single dose only, to replace the first or second dose of Epi
