How does deoxygenated blood flow through the heart?

A

It first enters the heart via the Superior Vena Cava

It then enters the Right Atrium and passes through the Tricuspid valve.

What happens to the deoxygenated blood after passing through the Tricuspid valve?

A

After the blood passes through the Tricuspid valve, it enters the Right Ventricle.

After entering the Right Ventricle, it passes through the Pulmonary Valve and exits through the Pulmonary Artery going towards the Lungs for reoxygenation.

What happens to the blood after being reoxygenated at the heart?

A

The blood travels back into the heart via the pulmonary vein.

It then passes through the left atrium and goes through the Mitral valve, entering the left ventricle.

What happens to the Oxygenated blood now that it’s in the Left Ventricle?

A

The blood passes through the Aortic valve and enters into the Aorta. Now it gets distributed to the body.
