Dysmenorrhoea
Menorrhagia

How does the uterus present in Adenomyosis?
Enlarged, boggy uterus
(enlarged, soft, and tender uterus)
What is the medical management of Adenomyosis?
GnRH agonists
(Gonadotropin-releasing hormone)
What is the definite management of Adenomyosis?
Hysterectomy
What is adenomyosis due to?
Endometrial mass does not flow out of body during menses
Instead, it accumulates inside myometrium, resulting in swelling of uterus
How can adenomyosis be diagnosed?
Transvaginal ultrasound

What medication can be given for symptomatic reflief of menorrhagia?
Tranexamic acid
