-lack of incentives- are you paying for the intervention or is it for free
2 groups of randomised control?
1.intervention/experimental group:receiving the intervention that’s being studied
2.control/comparison group receiving conventional or alternative treatment. After the groups are followed up to see if there are any differences in outcomes
what is are the 2 biases of randomised control
1.selection bias -there needs to be a transparent choice with the people chosen to participate
2.Performance bias-blind participants- they do not know which group they are in
