How big is El Salvador
El Salvador is a small, mountainous country, about the size of Massachusetts. It not only has several volcanoes, but it is also prone to earthquakes.

National Salvadoran-American Day, and is celebrated by the Salvadoran communities throughout the United States as a big festival, with plenty of art, music, folklore, and fun for everyone. Children are also included, with special events for them, such as clowns, soccer matches, and games.

Metrocentro is the city’s largest mall, with over 500 shops as well as movie theaters and restaurants. Products are varied—from the latest imported hi-tech devices, to textiles, clothing, books, and handicrafts. Metrocentro has expanded into a chain of malls. They are now in several cities of El Salvador as well as in Guatemala and Nicaragua.

Its main attraction, in addition to the elegant shops, is a European-style mansion which was kept intact and integrated into the construction as the mall was being built.
La Casona,
The mansion is called La Casona, or The Big House, and was maintained complete with a Gran Plaza, or Great Square, and decorative fountains. La Casona was once the home of a very wealthy family. Later it became a store, and now it is used for cultural and commercial events.
