It’s a traditional dish from Spain consisting of rice, vegetables, meat, and spices. The meat that goes in paella varies and can include anything from chicken or seafood to rabbit or snail
How is paella cooked?
No matter which ingredients are used, paella is traditionally cooked over an open fire and eaten directly out of the large dish it is cooked in, called the paellera.
What is Tapas
Another traditional Spanish meal is called tapas, which are served in the form of small plates. Depending on how many plates you order, tapas can be a meal all on their own.
When are Tapas meant to be eaten?
The small portions of different foods are meant to be shared over conversation, since good conversation is a very important part of a meal in Spain!

Flamenco is another big part of Spanish culture that’s also popular in the United States. Flamenco is a style of music and dance that began in the AndalucÃa region of Spain.
What are the theories behing the name flamenco?
The Spanish word for flamenco literally translates into flamingo in English. One of the theories on the origin of this name is related to the fact that flamingos are native to Southern Spain, and the steps and overall form of the dance bear a resemblance to the graceful bird.

There are many different varieties of Spanish throughout the world, and these different ways of speaking the same language are called dialects
What are special about the z, ce, and ci in spanish
The letters z, ce, and ci are special cases in the Spanish-speaking world, since they are pronounced differently in different areas.
So, the words zapato (shoe), cemento (cement), and cinturón (belt) can sound very different depending on which part of the Spanish-speaking world you are in.
How do people from different place pronounce z, ce, and ci?
Spaniards like me pronounce these letter combinations like the English th in thick. Everywhere else in the Spanish-speaking world, these letters have a regular s pronunciation.
