cholinergic
salivation, lacrimation, urination, defecation, gastric cramps, emesis, killer Bs (bradycardia, bronchoconstriction, bronchorrhea)
anticholinergic
fever, ileus, flushing, tachycardia, urinary retention, myoclonus, hallucinations
(hot as a hare, red as a beet, dry as a bone, blind as a bat, mad as a hatter)
sympathomimetic (stimulant)
hypertension, tachycardia, increased temperature, dilated pupils, anxiety
sedative-hypnotic
confusion/coma, respiratory depression, hypotension, decreased temperature,
variable pupillary changes
withdrawal
tachycardia, dilated pupils, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, piloerection
dep. on drug
marijuana
psychological: anxiety/panic, anterograde amnesia, psychosis
medical: tachycardia, red eyes, dry mouth, impaired motor control
doses higher than 20mg –> intoxication possible, especially 1st time users
opioid w/d
insomnia, nausea, abd cramps, muscle/joint aches, low-grade temperature, tachycardia
