Skeletal System:
Organs: Bones, cartilage, ligaments, joints.
Functions:
Protects and supports body organs.
Provides a framework for movement.
Produces blood cells in bones.
Stores minerals like calcium.
Muscular System:
Organs: Skeletal muscles, smooth muscles, cardiac muscles.
Functions:
Produces heat.
Maintains posture.
Enables movement (locomotion).
Nervous System
Organs:brain,spinal cords,nerves.
Functions:
Fast-acting control system of the body.
Responds to internal and external changes by activating muscles and glands.
Endocrine System:
Organs: Pituitary gland, thyroid gland, adrenal glands, pancreas, ovaries, testes.
Functions:
Glands secrete hormones.
Regulates processes like growth, reproduction, and metabolism.
Affects body cells’ functions.
