To locate the fuel cut off button look above the diesel tank, the buttons are located on both sides of the locomotive, PUSH THE RED BUTTON TO SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND HEAD END POWER (HEP) ELECTRICAL POWER. Hold down for approximately ___ seconds for fuel cut off.

The control cab is located in the passenger commuter car. This steers the Metrolink service to its predesignated location. Location of the control cab is identified with a letter “F” below the control cab window and is located on the opposite end of the locomotive.
