Q

Cell mediated immunity

A

Th cell have receptors complementary to the specific pathogen
Phagocyte displays antigens from the pathogen on cell surface membrane
Receptors on Th cell is complementary to antigen and so it binds
This stimulates rapid Th cell mitosis :
Phagocytes are stimulated
Stimulates B cell division
Become memory cells
Activite cytotoxic T cells
