SUCCINYLCHOLINE (Anectine®)
Drug Classification:
Depolarizing neuromuscular blocker
SUCCINYLCHOLINE (Anectine®)
Mechanism of Action:
Cholinergic R-agonist ⇒
- competes with ACh at neuromuscular junction
- when bound causes initial wave of widespread neuromuscular depolarization and prevents ACh binding and secondary muscle stimulation
SUCCINYLCHOLINE (Anectine®)
