• Hypoglycemia
Contraindications:
• Caution Pt.’s with increased ICP

Side Effects/Adverse Reactions:
HA, N+V
Anxiety, sweating, dizziness, nervousness, tremor,
HTN, palpitations, arrhythmias, chest pain,

Adult & Pedi Dose:
(ADULT): 25g slow IV, IO, repeat PRN
(PEDI): 0.5-1g/kg slow IV, IO

Precautions:
- Local venous irritation may occur in smaller veins
- May be diluted 1:1 with sterile water to make D25 for children
