stomach = if empty cannot palpate, if full poorly defined compressible mass
small intestine = might be only organ palpable (feel wet slip of noodles)
large intestine = colon in dorsal mid and caudal abdomen if full
bladder = if full
kidneys = can feel in cats, caudal pole in dogs
