Track directly towards the hold, once you pass over the hold WP, start a 20ºAoB Turn to wars the hold to intercept the outbound track. Once on the unbound track make a turn in the opposite direction to capture the inbound track on a 30º intercept

How is a sector 2 entry to the hold flown?

A

Sector 2 (tear drop) is flown by passing over the hold and making a turn to line up with a track by 30º offset to the inbound track. (266º + 30º = 296º, 041 + 30 = 071). Once established on this track maintain until through the hold (out the other side and make a 20º AoB turn to intercept the inbound track.
