What are the engine start ITT limits?

860-910 for 20 sec
910-1000 for 5 sec

Question 2

If engine start ITT limits are broken, what are you actions?

Answer 2

Complete actions IAW Hot Start:

1. PCL - Fuel Off
2. Complete the Manual Dry Run if the PMS has failed to do so:

If so, get out the checklist and open Engine Dry Run (located in the normal procedures: N-23)

What are the limits for Engine Dry Run?

Answer 3

After an engine dry run allow the starter to cool for one minute before attempting restart. If the start has been attempted 3 times a 30 minute wait is required.

If ITT does not rise or stabilises below 54% on start up, what are your actions?

Answer 4

1. PCL - Fuel off

Get out checklist and read the following Pg: N-23

2. Starter - AUTO
3. Igniters - AUTO
4. Fuel Pumps - AUTO
5. Engine Dry Run (on the same page)
