Perineal membrane
A
Strong fibrous triangular membrane membrane lying horizontally

Attachments: anterior
A
- It is thickened forming transverse perineal ligament
- .There is gap between transverse perineal ligament and arcuate pubic ligament of symphysis pubis through which passes deep dorsal vein of penis to enter pelvis and ends into prostatic venous plexus

Attachments: posterior
A
It fuses with Colle’s fascia superficial to it and pelvic fascia deep to it closing superficial and deep perineal pouches posterior

A
- Urethra (1 inch behind symphysis pubis)
- Ducts of the bulbo-urethral glands (on urethra sides)
- Branches of internal pudendal artery:
- 2 terminals: Deep artery of penis (close to pubic arch) and dorsal artery of penis (near apex)
- Perineal artery (at base).
- Urethral artery and artery of bulb of penis (beside urethra) - Posterior scrotal nerve
- Dorsal nerve of penis (near apex)
