what is interphase
the chromosomes shorten and thicken and condense and duplicate into ister chromatids with identical genteic information joimed together by a centromere
what is prophase t
the centriole start to produce spindle fibres whivh are found in seperate sides of the cell aslo the nuclear envelope dissapears
qhat happens in metaphase
the chromatids move to the equator and the spindle fibres attacth to the centromere
what happens in anaphase
the spindle fibre contract through production of ATP which cause the centromere to divide and the sister chromatids are pulled to opposite side of the cell chemicals destroys the spindle fibres preventing the chromatids being pulled apart
cytokinesis
the chromatids reach the respective poles and the chromosomes become longer and thinner and dissapear nuclear envelope reforms and divide into seperate cells cytokinesis
