Two loved structures found in the thorax cavity found inside as too delicate for the outside and prevent the body from drying out
What is trachea
Made from muscle flexible airway which has rings of cartilage to prevent throat from collapsing when pressure drops and there are also cilia and goblet cells
Bronchi is what
Branch off the trachea one into each lung contain Cilicia and goblet cells produce musics which traps micro forums and swallow and kill the bacteria
What are bronchioles
Branches off the bronchi and increase the surface area also have muscles to allow constriction so control flow of air into the alveoli
What are the alveolus
Tiny air sacs which are surrounded by elastic fibres and collagen when air is breathed in the alveoli can stretch and expand and then recoil
What is tidal volume
The volume of air breathed in one breath at rest
