Q

How does ventricle pressure vary

A

In the beginning the walls are stretched so good filled it up but low pressure then the atrium contacts and the ventricle walls recoil increases pressure then the pressure in the ventricle is greater than the atrium so av valve closed then this further increase the pressure which is then greater than the aorta so blood is forced in to the aorta as the blood is pumped and ventricle empties blood pressure falls when the blood pressure is lower than that of the ventricles the semi lunar valves close to prevent backflow

Q

How does atrial pressure vary

A

It is relatively low it is lowest when the walls are relaxed and the atrium fills with blood and pressure is greater in atrium so av valves open and blood is aided by gravity it increases when the walls recoil and forces blood into ventricles

Q

How does aortic pressure changes

A

Roses when the ventricle contract and blood is forced into the aorta the semi lunar valve then close which increases pressure the walls are then starched to prevent bursting when the ventricles relax the walls recoil

Q

How does ventricular volume vary

A

It increases as the ventricles fills with blood and then drops suddenly when the ventricles has higher pressure than the aorta forces Sv open and then forces blood into the valves
