A

when a person self determines and has conscious control over their destiny. although there are biological and societal influences limiting free will we are able to make significant personal choices within the constraints of other forces

A

it is at the top of maslows hierarchy of needs
it is a state/need that consists of the ability to be creative, acceptent of others and have an accurate perception of the world

what is maslows hierarchy of needs

A

it is pyramid diagram displays human needs, starting with basic at the bottom and more complex at the top. each level needs to be fufilled before a person develops into the next stage. the more basic the need the powerfully it is experienced and the more difficult to ignore

what is congruence

A

it is when there is a match between a person’s ideal version of themselves and how they perceive themselves irl.
increasing confidence increased self worth

if there is a difference then there is incongruency, a way to cope with this is by using defence mechanisms

A
